Pardupronox shows modest benefit and  potentially advantageous side effect profile in the treatment of Parkinson's Disease.  WHO statistics reflect decreased infectious disease but increased lifestyle-associated causes of mortality worldwide.  The anticonvulsant pregabalin shows efficacy in reducing  alcohol craving.
