Myelopathy in Pediatric Spine Trauma; Cine MRI and OSA; Imaging Plus Biomarker and Dementia; Continuous IVIG Stabilizes Cognition

MRI may demonstrate spinal cord injury in children following trauma even without evident radiographic abnormality.  Cine MRI may reveal obstructive sleep apnea in children.  Low levels of amyloid Beta 42 in the CSF combined with PIB-positivity in the brain may be a marker for future development of Alzheimer's disease.  Continuous infusion of intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) stabilized cognitive function in a small study of Alzheimer's patients.
