Neurohospitalists, Stroke Prevention, Rabies Vaccine, and TPA Dosing in Obese Patients
While most hospitalists are internists, neurohospitalists may offer both financial and clinical advantages to hospitals. An update on the prevention of secondary stroke has been presented. A shortage of rabies vaccine means it's important to administer the vaccine judiciously. Finally, the current upper limit of TPA dosage may lead to undertreating obese patients and contribute to stroke.
